Bintang was sold privately to a pedigree breeder, Roger Harper of Weybread Charolais, Norfolk, at just 6 months old. In June 2007 Bintang was 1st and Charolais Breed Champion at the Royal Norfolk Show, and in the winning Interbreed Colman Cup Team, reports delighted owner Roger Harper. Well Done Bintang and Roger!

Bintang is by New and is a maternal brother to Trevorshortt. At Perth in February 2004 Rumsden Trevorshortt (Doonally Olmeto x Rumsden Lacerta) sold for 6,000gns to Advie Pedigree Herd. Lacerta's previous calf was Rumsden Starwars by Silver Prometheus, which sold for 3,000gns the previous February Perth sale, so Lacerta is earning her keep.
