Carlisle Nov 2008Doonally New was influential in the bull sale at Carlisle in Nov 2008, with his sons and grandsons selling well. Second class prize winner, Hendy Celt, an April 2007 born Tullygarley Rollerball
son was out of a dam by Doonally New, and sold for 3,000gns.
Selling at 2,800gns was Bleasdale Colorado by Doonally New. And at 2,500gns was Hackleton Chieftain by New son Kilcullen Ted. Dungannon Nov 2008Doonally New dominated at Dungannons NI clubs autumn show and sale. Topping trade was a 15 month old Doonally New son, Drumconnis Colossus, who earlier had been awarded the junior championship for John McGarth, Deomore. He sold to Vivian Mcgee, Dungannon. The senior male and overall supreme champion from Patterson Stewart, Omagh was secured from a bid of 3900gns from Hugh Lennox, Magherafelt. Another Doonally New son, the 19 mobth old Castlenure Cody was out of a homebred cow by Roundhill Rocky. William Nelson, Rosslea carried off the reserve supreme championship with yet another Doonally New son, this time Drumacritten Clementine. A May 2007 born entry, out of a homebred dam by Blelack Leopold, sold for 3,300gns to Andrew Gault, Ballyclare.
