Rumsden Limousin Herd Dispersal

STOP PRESS: 6th July 2007: Rumsden limousin herd sold to Eddie Sims (Simse Herd).

We have made the decision to offer for sale our limousin herd. This is because we have pressure on space both for grazing and housing, and with the expansion of our Charolais and Commercial Herds, it has been decided that the Limousins must make way. Rumsden Farm is in a four yearly testing area and has never had Johnnes, IBR, Lepto etc. Our sale bulls have always tested clear of disease. The animals for sale are:

Thorndon Toya due Aug 2007 to Rocky

Thorndon Tilly with April 2007 bull calf at foot by Rocky and recently AId to Rocky

Rumsden Vicky with April 2007 heifer calf at foot by Ronick Hawk and recently AI'd to Rocky

Rumsden Vanessa due October to Navarin for her second calf.

Rumsden Amber Sept 05 Maiden Heifer by Rocky (show heifer)

Rumsden Alexis Sept 05 Maiden Heifer by Rocky

Rumsden Bonnie Sept 06 Maiden Heifer by Tonka (with show potential)

Also available are

Rumsden Bogeyman, bull born March 06 by Navarin

Rumsden Bruno, bull born May 06 by Rocky

We have two more pedigree lim cows which are not in the same order as the above, and have charolais cross steer calves at foot. We intend to retain and deregister these, but they could be added to the above if wanted.

Gotham Oleander calved June 2007

Thorndon Trixie calved Jan 2007
