Rumsden Nomad

Allanfauld Vagabond x Every Eleanor

Nomad was a smart young bull. Born in November 1997, he was 3rd in the second last class at Perth in Feb. 1999 and made 4,000gns. He sold to Ross Farms, and was still going strong as at September 2004. His quality crossbred offspring always command good prices, and in 2003 his daughter, Beyonce, was Junior Champion at The Scottish Winter Fair. (see picture below right)

At the first September (2004) sale of 1524 suckled calves at Stirling Mart, Champion was a nomad sired bullock which sold for £810. Mark Ross, pictured in the Scottish Farmer being awarded the championship trophy, was delighted with the performance of his Nomad calves at the sale, and reports that the bull is still fit and well at 7 years old.
