Rumsden Orlando

Killadeas Jack x Warninglid Hoya

Orlando was born at Rumsden in April 1998. He was sold at less than a year old to Neil Barclay of Harestone Charolais for £5,000. Neil brought Orlando to Perth in October 1999 where he made 9,000gns to Ravensworth Charolais.

We subsequently flushed Hoya to Jack, returning 9 grade A embryos. Four were implanted, resulting in two bull calves born naturally. One was very smart, but unfortunately injured himself and had to go fat. The other was not as good, but was Reserve Interbreed Champion at Heathfield Show and still made 2,000gns at Perth in October 2003 at only 15 months old.

The remaining embryos have now been implanted, and four calves are expected in June 2007.
