Its still busy busy busy at Rumsden with more of our cattle heading off to pastures new. Winning a 3rd prize at Perth and selling for 3,500 was Rumsden Europa who headed of to sire commercial show calves in Perthshire. Also winning a third was Rumsden Eiffel and she was sold to Messrs Paton, Lethangie Farms, Kinross. Long time followers of our web site, we are sure they will be happy with their new purchase, this heifer was a real sweetie.

And heading off farm on the last weekend of the month was 10 month old Ashleigh Victor son Rumsden Fallout. This is the very last calf of one of our best ever cows, Lacerta, and markes her fourth pedigree herdsire sale. This one heads to Darren and Donna Knox of Drumshane Charolais, who last spring purchased females Tizzy and Diva from Rumsden. Tizzy has since produced a bull calf by Vaubon, and Fallout is destimed for the show ring in 2011.
