Rumsden Show Team for 2007 (Limousin & Charolais)

Results 2007

At Heathfield we had Charolais Breed Champion and Reserve Interbreed Male Champion with Burnside Taz. We also had Reserve Female Champion with Rumsden Akita. In the Limousin section we had Male and Reserve Breed Champion with Rumsden Bruno, and Res Male Champion with Rumsden Bogeyman, and won the SELimousin shield for the best exhibitor bred limousin, andwon the Limousin group of 3 class.

At Surrey County we had breed Champion with Rumsden Akita.

At South of England we dominated the junior female classes. Rumsden Akita, Rumsden Ballarat and Rumsden Bianca all won their classes and Bianca was Reserve Champion Female. Taz was 1st, Male Champion and Reserve breed Champion.

At the Royal Show we had a good day, winning 2nd prizes with Rumsden Akita and Rumsden Bali, 3rd with Burnside Taz and 4th with Rumsden Bianca.

At Kent County, our last show with Taz, he was Breed Champion. Reserve was Rumsden Bali. Rumsden Ballina won the yearling bull class and Rumsden Balalaika won the senior heifer class.

We took our first ever trip to the Royal Welsh Show, and had a fantastic time there. We also had some pretty good results, being 3rd with Akita, 5th with Ballarat and 6th with Bali in very strong classes, and Bali was sold privately to Welsh breeder Vivian Griffiths.

Rumsden Amber

Split Aged Two year old heifer born Sept 2005 by Rocky out of Thornden Toya. Amber was shown once in 2006 being Breed Champion at Cranleigh at 11 months old.

Burnside Taz

Senior Bull born Feb 2002 by Moorlough Palo out of Burnside Heidi. Taz was purchased in Perth for 11,000gns. He was unbeated in his class as a yearling bull, and 2006 was his first season as a senior show bull. He was Breed Champion at Heathfield, Surrey County, Kent County and Cranleigh, Reserve Breed Champion at South of England and Edenbridge. He was Interbreed Champion at Surrey, Cranleigh and Male Interbreed Champion at Edenbridge. In 2007:
