Doonally New x Hampton Ivory

Sligo was our first bull calf by the great sire Doonally New. When Sligo was sold at Perth for 4,200gns, to W Longlands of Rushielaw, little did we know what enormous influence New would go on to have on the Charolais breed in the UK.

At Stonehouse show in 2005, one of the first calves sired by sligo, "Lexy", owned by Ian and Dot Goldie, was supreme show champion.
