Smithfield 2006

Pictures of our two second prize winners at the 2006 Royal Smithfield Show. Henna (top 2 pics) was second in a very strong class of 9 charolas X heifers, and has been retained for breeding. Wee Heavy (next 3 pictures) was second to the Intermediate Steer Champion. He was selected as the best exhibitor bred beast from the Intermediate steer section, and went forward for the final of the kings cup, which was awarded to natives this year. Wee heavy sold for £2.05/Kg (£1090.60). Squirrel Nonuts was 4th in his class and sold for £1.92/Kg (£990.72).

All three were homebred, sired by Farleycopse Telemarque.
